ASMR - Eye Testing & Examination Roleplay

Think we need to take a moment to appreciate matt - when the world is in the state it is right now it's always comforting to have constants, and matt's videos are perfect - they help you escape and relax, and while we need to pay attention the problems in the world its always important to be able to pull back and relax from time to time 😀

What I have always enjoyed with Matts videos is the knowledge. Especially when you’re doing a role-play, and you’re trying to convince the audience that you are a specific profession, it’s amazing what is done on this channel. On one video you can pass as a doctor. Then the next, an optometrist. And then a waiter. A barber. Each one thoroughly believable. Great job.

You’re the definition of an artist. I’ve watched SO many of your videos and in each one I could SWEAR you’re a master level expert in whatever role you choose to take on.

The blinking effect to disguise the camera cut works really well. It's less abrasive than a normal sharp cut line everyone else uses

I just want to say thank you for making these kind of videos and putting so much work in them. I have no idea why but the way you make your videos is a lot different from other asmr videos and I just love your videos way more than the other ones so thank you so much for making these videos. I've only ever had 1 eye test , it was the most relaxing thing I've ever experienced , the guy had a soft soothing croaky voice and the room was dimmed

I usually watch ASMR in bed without my glasses... So suffice to say my phone is about 4 inches from my face and I'm not sure how accurate this eye exam is going to be 👀😂

That eye chart is pretty accurate to how well I would see something that far away without my glasses.

Heya Matt...I just recently subscribed to your channel, and have really been enjoying so many of your roleplays! And after watching your old Q & A video you did when you reached 10k subscribers, an idea for a possible roleplay occurred to me that I can totally imagine you executing brilliantly. You had mentioned what a huge fan of boxing you are, how you stay up very late many Saturdays to catch fights that are often happening over here in the States.
Soooo...we need some way for you to do a roleplay that could be relaxing and of course give you the chance to show off your passion and knowledge for the "sweet science". I inagined a couple possible scenarios:
1. The viewer is a boxer who has just lost their championship belt in a big title fight, BUT there was a rematch clause in the contract. You, of course are the Head Trainer. You are sitting down with us several weeks after the fight, to not only break down the previous fight but to plan our strategy and training regimen for the upcoming rematch. It would also give you a chance to discuss other fictional (or maybe even real ones!) boxers you had trained, discuss boxing in general, and get us into the right place mentally after the very first loss of our boxing career.
2. Orrr...we are an up and coming boxer who has just turned pro, and you have agreed to be our Head Trainer/Manager. You would be able to discuss everything that you would expect from us, break down our training regimen and schedule, and discuss boxing to your heart's content.
Sorry this was so long, but I really think you could bring this roleplay tons of authenticity since you know so much about the subject. Keep up the good work, Articulate One 😎

I'm sure this has already been bandied about as a theory on Matt's characters....but I'm now starting to become convinced that each "Matt" is actually a clone of the original Matt, slightly modified to posses their own unique quirks and individuality and personalities. Thus the "ArticulateVerse" is filled with clones!
This could branch out to the unique characters as well (like the druid/wizard) and the Post-Apocalyptic-Storyteller (which I hope Matt brings back again).

Matt you promised me my eyes wouldn’t water but I got tired and did a big yawn and they started to water

Awesome as always, however, as someone who has had their eyes artificially dilated by an optician I can tell you it is definitely something you can feel. Can’t really keep your eyes open in bright conditions until the chemical wears off.

You are definitely, in my opinion, tied with Mattytingles for the best role plays ever.
